Isla

Owner & Dog Trainer

Brought up on a small holding in Pembrokeshire, Isla’s passion for animals was apparent from a very young age. 

 

In her early 20’s she owned a successful pet supplies business for 10 years prior to moving to Bristol to study BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Bristol University.  Graduating in 2017, she continued to pursue her dream and is currently working towards her Certified Clinical Animal Behaviour accreditation alongside studying an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training.  Isla is also a member of the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour and a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (Full membership on completion of CCAB).

 

Over the years Isla has had various pets including numerous rescue dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, gerbils, tropical and coldwater fish, canaries, budgies, guinea pigs, pond fish and a Shire x Cob called Maddock. 

​

In her down time, Isla enjoys walking her dogs Fatboy & Slim, reading, listening to live music, drumming and is an avid supporter of Bristol Bears.

Amelia

Pet Sitter & Dog Walker

Amelia is Isla's daughter so has been brought up in a household full of various pets.  Amelia helps out with dog walking and pet sitting around her college timetable where she is studying Psychology, Sociology and Film with a view to becoming a Forensic Psychologist.

​

Amelia has a Leopard Gecko called Ivvy. 

 

In her spare time, Amelia enjoys spending time with her friends, watching/reading anything psychology or crime drama related and is a Bristol Bears and Bristol City supporter.
