Training & Behaviour Services

Crabtree Pet Care offer a selection of Training and Behaviour Services to help with your dog on a one to one basis in your own home or local area.  

 

Isla's qualifications include:

BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare

Member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT)

Member of the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB)

Member of the UK Dog Behaviourist & Training Charter

Provisional Member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC)

(Full membership will be gained on completion of Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist Assessment)

Currently studying MSc Applied Animal Behaviour and Training.

1 to 1 Puppy Training - £150

These 4 x 1 hour training sessions you will gain the skills needed to teach your new addition to sit, lay down, stay, leave, recall, loose lead walk and be comfortable with being left alone. 

​

You will receive handouts for all the new skills that you develop, have access to our Crabtree Pet Care Training Page on Facebook and also have the opportunity to ask any other questions that you may have relating to your puppy's development, nutrition and how best to incorporate your new addition into your household.

1 to 1 Private Training - £150

These 4 x 1 hour training sessions are ideal for adolescent dogs, older dogs and rescues.  The sessions are specifically tailored to you and your dog's requirements and will cover anything from the basics through to resolving any issues that you are experiencing.

You will receive handouts for all the new skills that you develop, have access to our Crabtree Pet Care Training Page on Facebook and also have the opportunity to ask any other questions that you may have relating to your dog's training and behaviour.

Behaviour Consultation - £295

Working alongside your veterinary surgeon, the behaviour consultation consists of pre assessment, a 1.5-2 hour consult and a full behaviour report for both you and the referring vet.

​

The behaviour consults are for more specific behavioural issues such as resource guarding, reactivity and separation anxiety.  


These consultations will require a veterinary check up and referral.  A copy of the veterinary referral form is available below, please download it and ask your veterinary surgeon to complete it and ensure it is returned to us prior to your first appointment.
